When will financial year end documents be available to my clients?

  • The Insurance Premium Summary for your Zurich income protection clients will begin sending mid-July.
  • Annual Statements for your external trustee lump sum clients will begin sending in the last week of July.
  • From mid to late August, members of the Zurich Insurance-only Superannuation Plan (ZIOSP) can expect to receive from the super trustee their Annual Member Statements and for eligible members, a ‘Notice of intent to claim a tax deduction for personal super contributions’ (Section 290-170 Notice).

The trustee will send an Acknowledgement letter the next day after receiving a completed section 290-170 notice.

Will I receive a copy of my clients’ 2022 Zurich financial year end documents?

A copy of these documents will be available in the Policy Correspondence section of The Adviser Portal within a day or two of sending to your clients. You can login or register for the portal here.

How can my client request a further copy of their 2022 Zurich financial year end documents?

Your client can login or register for My Zurich to retrieve a copy of their 2022 Insurance Premium Summary or external trustee lump sum Annual Statement. These will be available in the customer portal usually the day after we have sent them.

Further information on My Zurich can be found at zurich.com.au/changes-to-your-insurance. Please encourage your clients to register for My Zurich if they have not done so already so they can benefit from the many features the portal provides for them.

Alternatively, you can login or register for The Adviser Portal to obtain a copy for your client.

Please note: copies of documents issued to members of the Zurich Insurance-only Superannuation Plan will be available by contacting the trustee via Insurance & Superannuation Administration Services Pty Ltd:

  • by phone on 1800 959 989; or
  • by email at zurich.enquiries@iasas.com.au

Will all my Zurich retail super clients be sent a ‘Notice of intent to claim a tax deduction for personal super contributions’ (Section 290-170 Notice) (NOID) form for the 2021-2022 financial year?

For clients with a policy within super, we will be issuing a NOID form mid to late August should members wish to claim a tax deduction on eligible personal contributions made to the Fund in the 2021-2022 financial year. This form is also available by contacting the Zurich Insurance Only Superannuation Plan (the Plan) at any time, or from the ATO website at:

It is important to remember that one of the eligibility criteria required by the ATO is that there must be an active membership in the Plan at the time we receive the completed notice. If a member has left the Plan (e.g. through cancellation of the policy) we are unfortunately unable to action the notice. Please keep this in mind when considering changes to your client’s membership, and ensure notices are submitted prior to the closure of membership.

If my client returns a NOID form for the 2021-2022 financial year, when will they receive a Tax Acknowledgement letter?

The super trustee will send an Acknowledgement letter the next day after actioning a returned 2021 – 2022 NOID form.

If my client has queries regarding their 2022 financial year end documents, who should they contact?

If your clients have any questions or require further information regarding their 2022 Zurich Insurance Premium Summary or external trustee lump sum Annual Statement, they can contact Customer Care on 131 551, weekdays 8:30am - 7:00pm AEST (Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm).
